Adam Smith and Chris Prescott met while learning to blow glass in Seattle six years ago.  The two teamed up for several years, blowing glass in studios around Seattle and Tacoma. They decided to open their own studio after visiting with other local glass artists in 2005. Spinfire Glassworks opened in January of 2006 on the North end of Camano Island.
